Introducing Corky (JC name Denise of Cork), a lovely 16.1-hand, 11-year-old mare. Corky arrived from Charles Town race track with chips in her front ankle and was initially very nervous and distrustful. Today, she is totally sound, and veterinarians have confirmed that she is capable of any mid-level job. Corky is a pretty mover and quite athletic. She needs an experienced handler familiar with off-track Thoroughbreds who can patiently build her confidence. Corky is an excellent project horse and is now ready for adoption. She is also seeking a sponsor to help with feed costs as we begin her retraining at SWTP.
